Private Yoga

Similar to personal fitness training, one-on-one yoga is tailored to the client’s specific needs. Private instruction lets the client ask questions and work on what makes sense for them – at their own pace and at a time they choose.

With larger studio classes, some students find they alter their practice, or push themselves beyond what is safe, or comfortable in order to “meet the demands of the class.”  With private yoga classes, the instructor will instead shape the instruction to meet the student’s needs.

Your instructor will take into account injuries, physical limitations, and your goals in designing each session. Your instructor can also provide you with guidance on how to build a practice at home.

Some people prefer to do private classes on a permanent basis. However, others simply use them to prepare themselves to join a group setting later down the line. Working 1:1 with an instructor can help build your yoga foundation, priming you for attending larger classes (if that is your goal), deepening your home practice, and building confidence in your practice.


What we offer:

  • One-on-one instruction: $65 for 1 hour session
    • $45 for your 60 minute return session. So it will look like this – See below
  • Two-on-one semi-private sessions for you and a friend, partner, spouse, etc.: $55 per client for 1 hour session
  • Our instructors can tailor classes for:
    • Beginning students
    • Injuries and/or physical limitations*
    • Chair yoga
    • Restorative yoga
    • Alignment and safety

Private Yoga can be great for beginning students, those who wish to deepen their practice, move at their own pace, ask questions, or just enjoy the focus and attention of working 1:1!
